As promised in the previous post, I said I would provide a guide to the rides, along with any warnings and restrictions that come with them. But...as there are four parks, it was a tad too big for one post. So, I am splitting it up into the four parks. Park #1 is Disney's Hollywood Studios.
RIDES
The Great Movie Ride

Toy Story Midway Mania
Height Restrictions: None
Wheelchairs: Must transfer
General warnings: Jerky/fast moving, 3-D. Longest wait in the park. Ever.
Ride Description: 3-D action meets a fun, fast-paced shooting game. Fun for the whole family! (As long as you only have 4 people in your family)
Fast-Pass: YES
Studio Backlot Tour

General warnings: Sudden drops, darkness, loud noises, scary scenes...basically, don't go on this one if you have a heart condition or a fear of heights/the dark/storms/anything.
Ride description: An old maintenance elevator plunges you 13 stories down...into the Twilight Zone.
Fast-Pass: YES
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
Height Restriction: 48"/4 foot tall
Wheelchairs: ...Really? You need me to tell you? Fine. NO WHEELCHAIRS.
General warnings: High speed, drops, inversions, darkness, loud music. Could possibly blow your ears out. Usually a pretty long wait too.
Ride description: It's a really, really fast, indoor, Aerosmith-themed roller coaster.
Fast-Pass: YES
Star Tours: The Adventures Continue
Height Restriction: 40"/3 foot 4 inches
Wheelchairs: Only in the queue. Not on the ride.
General Warnings: 3-D, some scary scenes, can get bumpy.
Ride description: 3-D simulator that takes you across the galaxy on many different quests.
Fast-Pass: YES
And that's it for Disney's Hollywood Studios! (Yes, there are only six rides in the entire park. Deal with it.)
Next time: Epcot!
AGENT R IS OUT. PEACE.
I just want to say that the Aliens scene in The Great Movie Ride is short and over quickly. It is seriously worth it to watch some of the greatest movie scenes come to life.
ReplyDeleteAlso, some kids might be afraid of the Wicked Witch of the West-- no monkeys, at least!
Oh, rubbish. She has no power there.
